New Zealand’s Test captain and fast bowler, Tim Southee, achieved a significant milestone by reaching 2,000 Test runs during the first Test against Bangladesh in Sylhet. Now, he’s in the same league as cricket greats Richard Hadlee and Daniel Vettori.

Scoring 35 in the First Innings
In the Kiwis’ first innings, Southee scored 35 runs off 62 balls, including three boundaries.
He’s now the third player from New Zealand to get more than 2,000 Test runs and take over 300 wickets, just like Hadlee and Vettori did.
