This information was confirmed by the OC of Kafrul police station, Hafizur Rahman. Akram Khan confirmed that the recovered body was his maid. He said that the deceased’s name is Sahida Akhter, home in Chittagong and Sahida was working in his (Akram Khan) house for the last 14 years.

On the question of how Sahida died, Akram Khan said, “I do not want to comment. Let them look into the matter of police investigation.”
OC Md. Hafizur Rahman said that the body was recovered and sent to the morgue of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital. The autopsy report will tell how Sahida died. Police are investigating the matter. The OC said that Sahida’s left hand was broken and some injuries were seen on her body.
