Former Indian cricketers S Sreesanth and Stuart Binny will be participating in the upcoming American Premier League (APL) T20 in Houston from December 19 to 31. Both players, having retired from active cricket in India, are eligible to play in overseas franchise leagues. The tournament, approved by the ICC in May, will take place at the Moosa Cricket Stadium in Houston, Texas. The USA Cricket board has enlisted 40 international cricketers across seven teams, representing America, India, Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, Australia, and England. Sreesanth and Binny will be part of the Premium Indians team. Sreesanth, aged 40, expressed his excitement about the opportunity,

Sreesanth said , “I am honored to be picked by the Premium Indians. I am still very new to the franchise cricket system outside of India, so I’m really excited about it. It would be a great experience to play in front of the American crowd in a new territory for the first time.”
