Australia's Mitchell Marsh isn't sure if Travis Head, the Man of the Match in the World Cup final, will play in the opening T20I against India.

Australia’s Mitchell Marsh isn’t sure if Travis Head, the Man of the Match in the World Cup final, will play in the opening T20I against India. Some Aussie players returned home for rest before the Test series against Pakistan, but others, like Head, stayed for the T20Is. Marsh praised Head but expressed uncertainty about his fitness for the first game.

“Heady was in the votes. I’m not sure he’ll be playing that game. If he does, it’ll be a miracle,” Marsh said.

Talking about his plans before the Pakistan series, Marsh mentioned, “Tools down for a while. Get home, see the family, relax, and get ready for the summer. Playing Pakistan is always exciting.”

Notable players like Warner, Smith, Cummins, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav will be absent from both teams in the series.
