David Miller has been ruled out of the series due to a finger injury and Farhaan Behardien will continue to play in his place. Wayne Parnell may have to wait a little longer for a game as the selectors are likely to retain fellow paceman Dwaine Pretorius who produced a brilliant spell in the last game.

Key Players

Although there are many big names in South Africa’s batting lineup, all eyes will be on AB de Villiers who has two hundreds and as many fifties at the Newlands. And now that the hosts have already clinched the series, we predict the skipper to play more freely on Tuesday and rack up plenty of runs. Imran Tahir is likely to get a fair amount of assistance from the surface. The spinner is currently the leading wicket-taker in the series with seven wickets and he will be the biggest hurdle for the Sri Lankan batters.

With Dinesh Chandimal struggling to get some runs under his belt, the onus will be on opening batsman Niroshan Dickwella and Kusal Mendis to make significant contributions. Dickwella made 74 in the last game and the team will have high hopes on him for this match. Suranga Lakmal and Lakshan Sandakan are the only bowlers in the side who have somewhat managed to trouble the South African batsmen. Both have taken a couple of wickets apiece in the series and we predict one of these two to do a decent job with the ball.
