Mustafizur Rahman to Imran Tahir. Off cutter length ball, down leg side on the front foot Steer, to deep backward point for 2 runs, fielded by Ali. A well deserved victory for Bangladesh. From start to finish they were the better team after being asked to bat first and with ball in hand they put in a terrific effort to restrict the runs. It was an innings of starts for South Africa when they really needed somebody to kick on and make a big score. Faf du Plessis looked the most likely to go on before he was bowled by a beautiful spinning delivery. Not the best way to begin the campaign for South Africa as they start with two defeats with India to come next. For Bangladesh though they can take plenty of confidence going forward and look ahead to their next match against New Zealand.

OUT! Caught. Andile Phehlukwayo to Mushfiqur Rahim. Short, outside off stump down the track cutting, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep backward point, by van der Dussen. Another Bangladesh batsman falls after getting himself set. Mushfiqur wanted to keep the run-rate high as he looked towards his favourite area on the ground. Not quite the placement on this occasion though and van der Dussen cleans up.

OUT! Bowled. Imran Tahir to Mohammad Mithun. Leg spinner length ball, off stump on the front foot Slog, inside edge to. Bit of a hack across the line. Dangerous game to play against Tahir who bowls stump to stump and is very accurate. Dragged on off the inside edge and Bangladesh lose their fourth.

SIX! Aiden Markram to Mohammad Mithun. Off break back of a length, off stump moves in front Slog, well timed in the air under control over deep backward square leg for 6 runs. Way too short and Mithun was waiting for it. Heaved over the short boundary for a huge six.

OUT! Bowled. Imran Tahir to Shakib Al Hasan. Leg spinner yorker, off stump moves in front sweeping, Play and Miss (Leg Side) to. Exactly what South Africa needed. A key wicket and once again it's Tahir who strikes. Shakib gets himself into a tangle trying to access the legside and cannot catch up with the ball as its fired at his feet. Can South Africa now put the squeeze on?

SIX! Chris Morris to Shakib Al Hasan. Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, top edge in the air uncontrolled over deep backward square leg for 6 runs. OUT! Caught. Chris Morris to Soumya Sarkar. Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, Gloved in the air uncontrolled to wicketkeeper, by de Kock. Through the shot very early. The back of Sarkar's bat is facing the bowler as the ball thuds into his glove and loops over his head. Plenty of work for de Kock to do and he makes it look very easy, diving forward at full length and taking the ball just off the ground.

OUT! Caught. Mustafizur Rahman to David Miller. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot working, leading edge in the air uncontrolled to backward point, by Miraz. OUT! Bowled. Mehedi Hasan to Faf du Plessis. Off break length ball, outside off stump down the track driving, missed to. Just as Faf was looking to kick on he is deceived in the air by a good bit of bowling. Flighted wider of the stumps enticing the big shot and then ripping it between bat and pad. Is this the turning point in the match?

OUT! Bowled. Shakib Al Hasan to Aiden Markram. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the back foot working, missed to. Markram goes for a well made 45. It's 250 ODI wickets for Shakib and he knows how to change his pace. This time it was more of an under-cutter so the ball hits the shiny side and skids onto Markram, beating the defences.

W
OUT! Run Out. Mehedi Hasan to Quinton de Kock. Off break length ball, outside off stump on the front foot cutting, outside edge to leg slip, dropped catch by Rahim, direct hit by Rahim. Massive confusion in the middle. Initially Mushfiqur was upset at dropping the catch and as the ball rolled away Markram thought there was a single. It was too late for de Kock to turn back once he realised he was wrong. While this was going on Mushfiqur took aim and knocked off the bails.
