Mashrafe Bin Mortuza has touched a new milestone in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Only three cricketers held earlier this achievement. Sylhet Strikers captain Mashrafe reached the milestone of playing the 100th match against Chittagong Challengers in the 28th match of BPL on Saturday. Before Mashrafe, wicketkeeper-batsmen Mushfiqur Rahim, Enamul Haque, and Imrul Kayes reached this milestone. They set the precedent of playing the 100th match in the ongoing season.

Mashrafe has been playing since the first season of BPL which started in 2012. Out of 100 matches, he played 95 games as captain. Which is the highest in BPL history. This successful former captain of the Bangladesh team has won 61 matches and lost 34 matches as a captain.
Mashrafe has also won four times as a captain. Mashrafe, the country’s best captain, tasted the title in the jersey of Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders for two consecutive seasons for Dhaka Gladiators.

Mashrafe has scored 97 wickets and 539 runs in 100 BPL matches so far as a player.
